So as we all do our part in these turbulent times, Penn Can Speedway “The People’s Track” will be doing ours as well. We have postponed all April activities and adjusted our schedule in hopes of a May opening. Everyone is facing unchartered waters and we will do our best as we know our fans are.
Our first practice will be May 1st ,raindate of May 2nd, with the pit gates opening at 5. The 65th season opener will now be May 8th. The Pappy Beavan Memorial for the modifieds will be 40 laps and $1955 to the winner. The 602 crate sportsman will be racing for a $1000 payday in the Beavan Family 30. The 600cc Modifieds will have a 25 lap feature with the winner bringing home a cool $1000 payday and 2nd will receive $500 in the “Salute to our fans 25. The raindate will be May 9th if needed.
May 15th will be a complete program and May 22nd will now host the first race of the Street Stock Shootout. On tap will be the Randy Decker Memorial 40. A complete program for the night. No 4-cylinders . May 22nd is also our Veterans night and American Legion. All veterans with proper ID will receive free grandstand admission.
