BIKE RACES THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!

Bike races this Friday June 29th sponsored by Stone Bros. Automotive & S & R Graphics, located in Hallstead, PA. Three age divisions will compete for trophies. Ages 5 thru 7, 8 thru 10, and 11 thru 13th will be the breakdown. Please sign in your child at the Novelty Booth by 8pm Names will then be collected. SCHANE DOUBLES-UP; SIMPSON BROS WIN IN BACK-TO-BACK WEEKS

The Hurricane Michael Schane reminded everyone why he is a multi-time track champion and one of the best currently in the southern tier crate modified division. Schane tackled the tricky oval with confidence and stayed smooth, allowing him to pick off the competition in front of him. Ryan Stone had the early advantage and was keeping Schane at bay, but a bobble in the first corner allowed Schane to utilize the bottom of the track to his advantage and would remain out front the rest of the way. Teenager Leo McGurrin made his return to Penn Can and looked strong, taking home 2nd place. Devon Zona also ran a great race and would keep his car clean to finish in 3rd. MATT BREWER AND MIKE NAGEL JR STUN CROWD; HOLLYWOOD GETS BIG WIN

Matt Brewer and Mike Nagel Jr put on a show for the ages. Alan “Hollywood” Rudalavage gets first win of the season. Shane Wolf Jr becomes first repeat winner in 2018. Simpson, Lattner and Wilder also victorious! Randy Brokaw and Matt Brewer brought the 602 Modified feature to the green. Brewer jumped out quickly to the lead, but a handful of early cautions stopped any sort of continuity. Despite the early caution fever, Mike Nagel Jr skillfully used the top side of the speedway to move from his 5th starting position to 2nd in the first handful of laps. From that point on, it was showtime. Brewer stuck to the bottom, while Nagel kept his #M7 machine glued to the top. The two would battle back
